New year

Starting a journal in the new year

January asks a lot of a journal. The useful question is not “what is my resolution?” but “how much time do I honestly have, and what is the one thing I keep circling?”

Choose by the time you have

If you began on Friday 1 January 2027 and wrote once a day, this is where each journal would finish.

The eight-week journals are The Life I Keep Postponing, The Direction I Am Choosing, The Things I Don’t Say, The Abundance I Overlook and The Things I Judge.

You do not have to start on the first

Every journal here is built so that a missed day never undoes the rest, and none of them depends on a particular start date. A journal begun on 9 January works exactly as well as one begun on 1 January. If you stall, I Missed a Day. Now What? is the place to start again.
