Squeezing a goal, feeding a worry, and chasing an outcome are the same habit wearing different clothes. The tightening is always the same tightening, whatever it happens to be aimed at that day. The Open Hand is a monthly guided journal built to catch that grip, whatever shape it takes, and to practise loosening it, one day at a time.
Each morning, you name what you are most likely to squeeze, feed, or chase today. At midday, you catch whether you have gripped since then, and name one small way to loosen it. Each evening, you rate how much you managed to release, overall. Thirty days of this turns a vague sense of "I am gripping something too tightly" into a pattern you can actually see and work with.

Chase: a reply to my proposal.
Yes. I checked my inbox four times. One small loosening: phone in the drawer for an hour.
A little more than yesterday. The hour in the drawer helped.

Simple, minimal, and built for one purpose: catching the grip before it closes all the way.
