A 30-Day Guided Journal

Catch the moment before autopilot takes it.

Most reactions happen faster than thought — the sharp reply, the shutdown, the spiral, gone before you notice you have chosen it. The Pattern Interrupt is a 30-day guided journal built to slow that moment down, so you can see the trigger, the emotion, and the response as three separate things instead of one automatic blur.

Each day, you track what triggered you, the emotion it produced, and the physical sensation or behaviour that followed. Once a week, you review the pattern. At the end of the month, you review the whole shape of it. By Day 30, you will have a clear, written record of what actually runs you, and enough distance from it to choose differently.

What triggered me

My manager moved the deadline in front of the whole team.

The emotion it produced

Irritation first, then embarrassment.

What I felt or did next

Jaw tight. I went quiet and typed a short, clipped reply.

After this journal

If you would like to keep going, here are two natural next steps.

The Mindful Pattern

If the month showed you a pattern worth following, the 90-day journal gives you three months to map it: the thought, the emotion and where you feel it in your body, with weekly and monthly reviews.

Find the journal for what you are carrying

If one pattern kept coming back, an eight-week journal stays with a single theme: putting things off, things unsaid, judgement, or missing what is already good.
